In
the tradition of Veneto, as in every place
in Italy, dinner is a fundamental moment of
daily life.
Meeting each other for dinner is not only
a primary need, necessary to live, but has
a great value as one can socialize, meet each
other, exchange feelings, emotions, ideas,
knowledge.
When we are interested in deepen a friendship,
a love or business affair, when we want to
be happy, we usually meet each other for lunch
or dinner.
This event is the very fabric of moments,
passages, glances, silences
In this communication
game the dish in its different shapes and
versions is one of the main elements. Lets
imagine the emotion of our friends, our guests,
when we lay a table with mass produced tableware,
similar to many others, or with original,
refined handmade tableware, rich of contents,
in which it is evident the craftwork.
In handicrafts in Veneto the dish has always
been produced and stands up for a tradition,
interpreted according to the world that craftsmen
have in themselves.
If we had luck and could go and visit a craftsmans
or ceramists studio we could see in
their dishes, if well observed, a world of
messages, a way of life, of thinking, a life
style: this is originality.
With these masterpieces
we can communicate to our guests what we believe
in. We can say that we are unique,
interesting, original, of good taste, that
we are people with feelings and emotions that
have to be communicated, given, received.
